There you go, I fixed it for you.

I know the Rape of the Masters book has nothing to do with the art market, per se. That's why I added the bit about the art market. I wanted to make it clear that I wasn't talking about either of those facets of the subject of art appreciation.

To spell it out, I was suggesting that certain people, obviously not the annointed, might be served by learning a little bit more about art. It's a big field and I know from experience you can't learn it all in a day. Not even two, or three. Might take all week....

It's like good wine. The more you drink, the more you learn (hopefully) and the more knowledgeable you become about what you like, and why...
