i know,this is an old idea but:
i have a nice 86'944 NA and a crashed but mechanical perfect 88'944 turbo(salvage).

So i want to put out engine/torqu tube/rear axle/tranny/exaust/suspension all tougheter and than change it with turbo one.
I think in porsche they call this wedding.
If i put all togheter out with some minor electric change(DME wiring,water pump...) it's like not a big issue if you have all the material from the other car.
Unplug all conections(front/rear cross,arms,wiring...) rise the car and...out!

please teel me if i forget something, if i start this job i must finisch it in a 10/15 days(the porsche is my second car)
