993RSR's had special OEM factory rods and everyone tossed those in favor of Carrillo, Pauter, Arrow, etc.

GT-3's, Cup cars, and RSR's use various versions of Pankl titanium rods.

Cracked rods are best suited for street engines as they are cheaper to manufacture in volume.
