Well i've just taken a WP shock of my K,thats WP OE and frankly it was no better the Showa i took my S,8 years ago,but i don't consider that a reflection on WP,as the WP OE wouldn't hold a candle to their over the counter aftermarket stuff,the OE is made to a price no matter who's name is on it,and as they say you only get what you pay for.
My gripe with aftermarket suspension is how they come as a stock spec,for me Ohlins supply a top spec shock and thats the way they come,any of the others you have to ask,i have 2 bikes with Ohlins and one with Wilbers,if you want a Wilbers with the same spec as an Ohlins, remote preload/compression/rebound/ reservoir very often you end up with 2 pipes,the Wilbers i bought by mistake(mine) has a combined compression and rebound,which is a half way house in my book,same as OE
,although it is a better quality unit,but you live and learn!!!
