They're injection molded glass-filled nylon. Manufactured in halves and sonic welded (just like the MSAR and others).
Great guys to deal with, and you can buy a "stripped" lower (comes with proprietary takedown pins, but needs a lower parts kit for the fire control group) for $150 from Brownells. To top it off the guys at CavArms are VERY good people.
