I've been working on the bike during the evening. I finally got my first order of parts from Max BMW. Here are some photos of the progress. Both carbs are rebuilt. I am now working on rebuilding the shocks. One of them looked like water or something nasty had gotten in the tube. All the rubber bits had disintegrated and everything was nasty. The other tube was spotless.
I also have cleaned every subassembly with degreaser. The triple tree bearings were a SOB! And getting the races out of the head tube was another PITA!
Tomorrow my buddy and his electrician brother are coming over to wire my garage for 240V so I can hook up my air compressor.

Also, I found a guy online who sells these nifty SS bolt kits specific for your bike. This makes it real nice to put a sub assembly back together. Nice and neat.
