The one I'm looking at only rotates clockwise/counter clockwise and as far as I can tell it just goes constantly.
So, is a winder for $200 really better than the one for $39 or is this just marketing?

Joe, that winder has been on chronoshark several times. I got one a while back and am pleased with it. It seems to be multi-orbital and has all kinds of timing options. you can't go wrong IMHO for $39. You cannot match that price anywhere.
