The recession hit Adobe hard, profits were off nearly 30% end of last year.
Apple users account for 25% of Adobes numbers.
Cutting off 25% of your revenue stream just to snub someone would be a terribly foolish thing to do.
It would put them out of business.
Apple would jump in and buy them and Jobs wins.
