Well, I will pass this story to Pippa tomorrow morning. She was originally for Barrow In Furness working on the UK Diesel Submarines. When Canada bought the 4 Upholder Class Subs, she got deployed to Canada to support the project.
She decided to stay in Canada and got her citizenship paper a couple years ago.
