The CBC does a pretty good job on international events, often covering the USA better than US stations.
On cable I get an Indian woman with a British accent, might be one of the BBC stations. They show vivid images (war and earthquake victims) which even the CBC would not touch, but the body of coverage is hard to follow at times.
