Personally I like Al Jazeera (from Doha in Qatar) for world news, not just Arabic news. They tend to cover world items that I don't see on other networks. They have offices all round the world and do a lot of crosses to them for up to date coverage. I've watched some really good constructive debates on the Arab-Israeli conflict on there as well. IMHO they do not sensationalise the news and current affairs too much; they report it comprehensively which is what I am looking for.
I do not like our mainstream coverage of world news period. It is superficial and uninformative. I particularly do not like their coverage of the Middle East and its conflicts.
We have SBS on free to air here which is the "ethnic" station for want of a better term. They do a good world news broadcast, but because they have to cover our national news also they prioritise their world news items. I can pick up on our national stuff anytime; I want a dedicated world news service which is why I choose to watch Al Jazeera. Plus I really like their in-depth coverage and approach to Arab news and current affairs. I have my own qualified opines concerning the Arab-Israeli conflict or more precisely the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. I say qualified as my lineage is Christian Lebanese (and I am very proud of it). If my grandfather could live in his village in Lebanon with a Jew as his neighbour on one side and a Muslim as his neighbour on the other and they all got along very well and were welcome in each other's homes; it can be done again. In this ongoing conflict BOTH sides are wrong...both sides have legitimate claims; have committed many atrocities and both sides must find a solution for lasting peace.
