I dunno, guys. I don't think this is a man-woman thing. I think this is communication 101 thing.
Somebody sends you a message and says "we had some stuff coming due and Glen (our financial guy) wants to get together to discuss", I would reply with something along the lines of: "OK, when would you like to meet with Glenn?"
Not just "OK". That would kind of irk me, too, as it is now incumbent on me to send
another message asking you when you can meet. I get responses like that from lazy coworkers who don't really want to take action
