Not just "OK". That would kind of irk me, too, as it is now incumbent on me to send another message asking you when you can meet. I get responses like that from lazy coworkers who don't really want to take action

Right, if the original sender had wanted info it should have come across as:
"we had some stuff coming due and Glen (our financial guy) wants to get together to discuss. When is good for you?"
As I see it, NOT asking the question that you want an answer to is lazy.
