Hi everyone. Stuff gets damaged from time to time, regardless of where it's going. A packaged shipped 5 miles away can get trashed - it's just a fact of having to deal with the shipping companies. Shipping Internationally complicates things because you cannot divide the shipment into multiple packages without doubling the price of the shipping. On top of that, then you have two packages to import through customs, etc. So, International packages generally have to have extra handling and care, which we do provide.
We're working on getting this fixed for targa871 right now.
As for UPS, we have a pop-up message in our shopping cart, and also in our shipping page, specifically warning against using them (we have to continue to offer the option because people in the end want to make their own choices).
