Drill mills are nothing more than glorified drill presses with an XY table. Like others have said, they are horrible with regards to rigidity. I'm assuming you meant that it at least comes with some collets, as you should never hold an endmill in a drill chuck if you are going to apply any sort of side loads (i.e: milling)

The initial cost of buying a real milling machine will be higher, but you will be much happier in the end. Bridgeports and their clones can be had for dirt cheap these days (sadly) due the number of machine shops closing their doors. Check craigslist, ebay, and visit local machine shops in your area for leads.
