"Long story short?
Kid purchased the car (2001 Neon ACR / No option car) from a fellow Neon enthusiast. Was driving through the twisties in So Cal, lost control, hit a crub and rolled the car. Car was a write off, obviously.
He took most of the goodies off the car, took the built motor / trans out and dropped in a $hitty '95 Motor / Trans to move it around and stuff, decided todo some fun burnouts in it before he scrapped it, and that happened.
Before he owned it, it used to be absolutely immaculate, the previous owner took such good care of it, and it was a fantastic car...now not so much"
