beyond declaring you don't want to pay what someone else charges? And making non-specific charges about a web site in general not even bothering to specify the page you have problems with or citing the phrasing you think incorrect. If you have a specific problem, my email address is well known. I've often changed things in response to well reasoned, well phrased and kind inputs from hundreds of people. I sure don't know everything. On fast evolving subjects, I do occasionally reread what I've written and update either my opinion or the facts as I then know them.
I know Charles has made at least 2 changes in the last week to his IMS web page in response to some suggestions I sent him for areas that I didn't feel were as clear as they could be. Many of us strive for the truth as we see it and clarity in explaining our facts or opinions. I know Charles does.
Have you documented any problems on
your web page? Have you researched any actual costs? Have you talked to about a thousand people either by email or voice patiently answering their questions? Have you devoted your car to be a rolling research vehicle? Your wife's? Have you journeyed thousands of miles to work with others on a part and its installation techniques? Have you dyno'ed the results? How many times? Tracked the results? AX'ed it? How many times? Developed 4 different approaches depending on what version of the M96 engine you find? Have you built an installer network and supported them with training, documentation, video guides, shipping, warranty, etc? Ever monitor the health of every engine your part is installed in? Ever been inside a M96 engine? Installed how many of your parts? What kind of installation tools do you sell? Rent? What kind of workshop do you have? Office space? Clerical help? Inventory? Web site? How do you pay for all that?
When you have your product...charge what you want to. By then you'll understand that Charles probably makes minimum wage on all the effort he has put in.
