I'm curious as to how you built that sweet gun for $1000. I have been playing with the idea of building a 1911 on a carbon steel Caspian or Fusion slide and frame with Fusion/Ed Brown/Wilson parts and the cost already totals over $1300. And those are just the essentials without any tools that I would need to buy. That scheumann barrel of yours with the compensator is a $500 set alone
