Awesome episode last night.
Patton Oswald did a great job playing a talk show host. Between his work on this show and Dollhouse, I have a new respect for him as an actor.
Esai Morales also did a great job playing a morally-conflicted widower deciding between vengeance and healing.
The grandmother character is interesting. Her Tauran beliefs get more and more interesting. I also think something is up with the detective character (well, they did lead into it pretty heavy). I think we will learn more about him.
The other thing I love about the show is the backdrop of Caprica itself. Drug use is legalized. Gay marriage is legal. Polygamy is legal. Some characters view this as proof of an enlightened society, others view it as proof of moral decay.
And the previews for the next show have me thinking that the thoughts on the Tamara character above are correct...
