The software compensates (to a degree) in windy conditions. GPS coordinates can be locked in on the controller/transmitter.
Also, if you watched that entire video, you know about the "coming home" feature where the guy flys it into the distance, then flips a switch that brings it back to him automatically as it seeks out its original position using GPS. Here he does it in windy conditions... pretty amazing stuff.
