I know I'm late to the game, but I wanted to check in here.
Last month my wife bought the
Mayo Clinic Diet book. On the first of February we started to put 'most' of the things in practice. We're eating vegies, fruits, and whole grains with limited meats and fats.
I started at 210.5, and am at 197.5 this morning.
I hadn't set any goals as I had no idea what to expect. But I am very happy with my progress so far.
