Just did some quick research on that - sounds like a good idea.
The Physical Therapy place I have used in the past often used ultrasound in the healing process -- I will give them a call to see if they have such a machine, and I will check with my insurance and bone doctor to see if they will recommend such a thing. Surprised that the bone DR didn't mention that before...
