last time i checked, MS doesn't give a rats ass wether or not you use the server in a domain enviroment or not... a client connection is a client connection and as such requires a CAL.
And get this, if you got a webserver , serving 5000 unique browser clients, technically you'de need to get 5000 cals. Nuckin futs is the term you're looking for...So if you want to fill in 10 000 cals.. you can...
Real world... whatever legal risk you feel comfortable with...the CAL thing is just a number you enter upon installation, it's not like it requires you to install license keys for em..
