I just fired a warning shot.

He kinda reminds me of a new guy at work -- was in our company about a week before he started telling everyone how things are supposed to get done, and what he expects from everyone. Note that he wasn't a manager - just another worker bee like the rest of us.

It is always better to get the lay of the land before opening your mouth too much...
