Ok, Pelican brain trust -

Within the past month or so, I've been having kids running through my backyard. Thing is, I live in a community where the back yards are all fenced off...which means they must be jumping the fence. Both of my neighbors have no kids...so they must be jumping multiple fences to get to mine.

So far there has been no damage and no attempt to break into the house to steal anything. But that's not really the point...I want the trespassing to stop.

My thoughts are to buy a camera system. I want something wireless, and I want it to record. I'm thinking if I can get proof of the trespassers, I can call the cops and have something done about it.

First question, does this sound practical? You think the cops would do anything?
Second question, is there a better alternative?
Third question, any recommendations on hardware?
