When exactly does someone become a non-parenthetical expert to you?
Those "experts" as you call them are drawing on an extraordinarily high resolution knowledge of the sun, being examined more than almost anything else in the world, as well as thousands of years of actual direct observation (not the secondary stuff like the climate scientists are using). If this isn't enough raw information and knowledge to make someone a full fledged expert, than what does it take?
