I have a 08 Silverado 5.3 only problem I had is replaced battery & alt in 44,000 miles. Battery went 3 months past warranty and alt went 1 month after warranty. I thought my 98 Silverado 5.7 was a nice truck to drive and tow with 340,000 km on it now but the 08 rides and tows much better.
