Beautiful car! Has the car ever been repainted? Maybe the decklid was replaced at one time or another? Maybe a P.O. removed the badging and the next owner installed them back on at some point?
These emblems are basically only "stickers" and were probably re-installed by someone that didn't space them exactly as they would have been from the factory.
