EFI Plumbing from Intercooler to Carrera 3.2 Throttle body

I'm trying to complete my rebuild and I need to make the final plumbing connections from the intercooler outlet to the 3.2 intake throttle body. I've searched several EFI threads to see how to make the final connection from the 3" pipe to the throttle body using hard pipes instead of the factory rubber 90degree boot which exploded..

I'm invisioning using an aluminum weldable flange to attach to the throttle body using one of the clamps below so I can weld the 90 degree aluminum 3" tubing to it and have a removable connection. My measurement of the throttle body OD is 3.25" and I'm guessing at this point that the grooved section is roughly 3".
I know this has been done before....can anyone lend advise on "off-the shelf parts" to make this connection?

Using something like this?

or this?

Thanks in Advance!
