Anyone else have the album "Loose Ends" ? - there is a quiet instrumental track on that which is beyond sublime. The name of it escapes me at the moment.
Also, from Electric Ladyland (one of the greatest titles of all time); "Moon Turn the Tides...gently, gently, away"
And Castles made of Sand also does it for me - Hell, just about all of his stuff on every level.
He was a better poet than Morrison I think and his guitar playing... the only explanation was he was not from this earth.
