I am about to install my flywheel after a rebuild and was told to be sure that I have the seal behind the pilot bearing. I have no idea what this person was talking about but do consider him a reliable source.

I have the metallic colored O-Ring (possibly graphite impregnated?) which goes on the bore of the flywheel and around the crank. Is there anything else involved? I don’t see why there would be and I don’t see where it would fit, but I have to ask.
