I know you just got a Smart Racing quik release unit, and I know it is a very fine one and rather pricey. But I too have an L231 MOMO hub, and several wheels I like to use and swap out, depending on what kind of driving I'll be doing. I found this cheap little quick release on Fleabay and ordered several. Heck for $9 plus $10 shipping you can't go too far wrong! The nice thing about this unit, is that it is THIN. Works super with my L231 MOMO hub and feels solid as a rock when installed, and the quick release works great! I know these are made to appeal to the "RICER CROWD", but worked super for me. By the way, they also allow you to retain the use of your horn!

That is a great little adapter. I just might get one. is it pretty well built?

I have my wheel as far foward as possible by modifyin the Momo hub and using a smart Racing spacer with lojng bolts and the Momo bolted directly to it. I HATE the wheel close to me.

But that adapter looks pretty darn good to me.
