Gee I Dunno. I reckon if there was enough heat to affect the timing belt I would expect the plastic belt cover to look a little stressed, but it isn't !

I think the sheer volume of air passing over the area keeps it reasonably "cool" remember when the turbo heats up you are gathering speed, rapidly.

I guess you could fit a large single there, I just would never consider fitting a single turbo!

Everyone who has ridden in this car has commented on the boost delivery, boost starts at around 1800 rpm and is on the wastegate by around 2500, so it has mighty mid range torque, and that is really useable power.
