Sniper: 308 is heavy for prairie dogs. Varmints come in many sizes, coyotes and badgers are opportunity targets at 500 + yards. We even have a 300 win mag with 168 grain Sierra match bullets for the really long stuff. Most critters aren't real spooky at 500 Yards
The Ruger .204 is impressive more economical powder wise than the 220 swift.
It does not buck the wind like the heavier 55 Grain bullets the swift fires.
