997 Transmission Problems?
I'm looking to purchase a 2005-2007 997 Carrera (6 speed manual) as a daily driver.
I have found a couple of 05's on line with Carfax reports which indicate "transmission removed for repair". These cars have <40k miles and one car had "transmission removed for repair" at 14k miles and again at 20k miles.
I also found an owner review on Edmunds which stated his car had an "unreliable transmission"
Are there issues with these cars?
