So went to the swap meet yesterday and scored a few items - had a good tim. On the way back my tach started acting up - on the way by the airport - my car gave a little wiggle - I was not pushing it - just keeping up with shakinjoe.
So - came back and examined the tires - and guess what - they have a 02/1998 date stamp on them - They are a 100 tread wear rating = so they have to be hard as a rock by now (which is I am sure what I felt)
Anyway - so I declined going to the german invasion 2 hours south of here - and worked on getting some light scratches out of the paint - and removed my rockers - and found a old tb cover - looks original = and looks like Mexico Blue - so looks like my car was repainted - COMPLETELY - in a darker blue - maybe bahama - maybe Arrow - still cool either way
Took the rocker panels off too - they will definitely stay off and are already in the FS section...
