Typically, a FM will run about $75-100 whereas a Dansk, Monty, M+K can run several times that much.
I love the sound of an M+K with SSI's but I simply could not justify the cost at the time.
BTW- that wasn't a dumb question, my friend. I think it was very legitimate and worth asking.
