I live in Houston, but have family in Austin. Just got my P-car running right to make the 150 mile drive. I also went to college there and had some fun on the roads. Hwy 2222 used to be a blast to drive.
My favorite is the road from Mt. Bonnel to 2222 then if you are still up for a ride take 2222 to hwy 360 then take that south to 2244. Stop and eat dinner at one of the County Lines. then drive back into town.
I'm also doing the DE on Sept. 7th & 8th. My first one. Let me know if you will be there.
