My neighbor, the nefarious Chip, an older gay man...regularly brings tricks back to his house.

-I have no problem with prostitution. The guys he brings home appear to be about 20 years old on average, and he apparently likes them with short hair and plenty of tattoos. They are always scrawny twinks.

[That guy goes to Thailand every year; I shudder to think what goes on over there~]

Chip is a nice man and though I try to stay away from him, I'm cordial to him when I see him in his yard. I met one of his "boys" one day too, and the kid seemed like a decent intelligent person. I suspect that many prostitutes like this are doing it because they are dirt poor and the only way that they can support themselves is to sell their bodies to old toads like Chip, who has cash coming out his rear end he's so rich.

What is the end game of this? Chip gets off, and the boy can now pay his rent. What's wrong with that? That is a hell of a lot better than the scenario where the boy either steals/deals drugs/goes on public assistance and Chip winds up wacking off.
