It looked like Cooke was aiming for the shoulder but missed. Whether or not he did it intentionally is hard to tell from the replays. Cooke's a rough player but I haven't seen too many from him that are intention to hurt.

Ovechkin has routinely slew more feet, kneed more knees, and boarded 5 feet from the boards than anyone else in the league. Can't stand the man.
