gdammit, found a piece of fur, the size of a small tennis ball...
But there's nothing left to determine what this came from... it's just some skin with fur...no edible (for cat) parts left.
It's long fur too, so it's not mice, rat or mole... We don't have chipmunks in this area.. but it kinda looks like chipmunk fur...

Since it's eaten, it's Boris.
Boris is not people shy... I fear he may have been so efficient at killing mice, that he ran out of prey... and simply moved up the food chain for bigger kills.

Which also means he might be busy killing the neighbourhood pets... Guinea pigs , hamsters , Pet rabbits... Chihuahua's... Nothing is safe....
