Don't lower yourself to their level. If you believe that they are Christians then give them rebuke from a source they cannot argue with. Type out this scripture and put it in your pocket. Next time you see them, smile and calmly give them a copy and tell them that they should pray about whether even if they are right they are driving people farther away by the way they treat people:
"Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God." Gal 5:19-21 KJV
If you are rude, in their minds you prove that they are right. Take the high road and make them feel small.
