This is a contemporary Alexander Henry style Long Range Target rifle by Don Henry Brown. Don passed away in January 2009 at 80 years old. This is of the type that the English, Irish and Austrailian rifle teams used at the Creedmore Rifle Match in 1874. The English team were beaten by the American team using SS breechloaders of the Sharps, Remington and Peadody type because of them shot at the wrong target at 1000 yards. The typical caliber for one of these is 451.
