Fact is that BMW has a contract with him and THEY are the ones who need to find a solution and who's opinion counts.
He is not a good rider on the BMW and does have a history of crashing on other bikes as well... I am pretty sure that the money played a big role when it came to signing him and I am also pretty sure that they now feel the wrath of having saved on the wrong end.
VERY good to see that Jim is playing it real and offers valuable and reasonable input. Portimao is not exactly as favorable track for the BMW.
Don't forget that there is Reitwagen as a second team to collect valuable data... and an exceptional rider with Andrew Pitt... he did score a point in BOTH races at PI... has anyone noticed that?
