Only attachments that change the lever arm (like a crows foot wrench) change the torque value. If one holds the wrench away from the center of the grip, the torque value achieved changes on the beam click type. Tilting off-axis while using a universal joint will also affect the torque value imposed on the fastener. The "play" and torsional wind-up of a long stack of extensions would effect the number of degrees turned if one is using the "turn of the nut method" which Porsche does for later engines. Cheers, Jim
