All the automotive journalists touted the legendary E39 5-series BMW as the best sport wagon on the market. This BMW has all the luxury and comfort to haul around your family, friends, and stuff while still giving you, the driver, all the fun of a sports car. This affordable 5 series was well taken care of. It was never abused and always serviced/maintained at either the local BMW dealership or some of the top SoCal Independent BMW repair facilities. It has never been in an accident and is in fantastic condition.

However, this was not good enough. The owner of this wagon is a mature local enthusiast who purchased it in 2002 from the local BMW dealership as a CPO car. He immediately took it to Bullet Performance and began the full Dinan upgrades. Ultimately, this was his wife’s car, but he truly enjoyed making it a fun sleeper wagon. He spent nearly $10,000 bringing the car up to S2 specifications (everything but the intake manifold). The enhancements included the following:
