I am blown away at how long this thread has lasted! I built the car two years ago.
As an up date the car is still progressing. More power equals bigger brakes equals better suspinsion equals roll cage equals bigger trans and so on. The car is still fun to drive on street but just this side of a full racer car. Now I am at 528 hp, 13in brakes and bone jaring, eye blurring suspinsion, but I smile from ear to ear everytime I drive it. At two D.E.s in the past year I have been moved up a class because I was passing every car in class.
It has been a challange to cool this much HP and I am still not were I want to be, but I suppose like most projects, it is a work in progress.
