I don't have dimensions or specs to test this... would getting a 911 stub axle and rear hub bolt onto a 914 u joint and fit into the trailing arm? i was just looking at some options and that popped into my head, as it looks like it will work. if so, why not? are the teeth on the shafts / u joints different? u joint bolt patterns different? if length is a problem, would using the universal shaft from a 911 work?
