An early 911 Stub axle will work on a 914, but you have to use 911 hubs and 911 rotors. However, then your have a 5 lug 914 set up for the trailing arms J

There are many options from here.

First, use the 914 CVs and then mount an adapter to use between the axle and the 911 stub axle (I have these). Not a bad option for cars with less than 200 HP.

Second, use 911 CV with an adapter for between the 914/901 tranny drive flange. Again, I have these.

Third, find a rare set of 911/901 drive flanges and bolt them into 914/901 tranny. Use a spacer btwn the 911 CV and the drive flange. Once again, I have these.
