I grew up loving musclecars. Years ago, when I started making decent money, I'd decided that I was going to get something nice. I was thinking, a decent older Chevelle or something, then drop in a crate motor, new brakes and suspension. I also considered finding a mid 90's Impala SS. I'd still like to have an old muscle car like I described above. But one day while waiting for a flight out of LAX, I picked up the Aug issue of Excellence with the buyer's guide for 3.0 and 3.2L 911s. That was it. From that point on, I don't think I looked back.

I still love the looks, sounds and smells of classic detroit iron, but when you can have something that excels at acceleration, stopping and cornering....
